A Place to Learn and Study

In the Chemistry | Biology | Pharmacy Information Center you will not only find books or places to work, but can also read current newspapers and magazines in the lounge area, browse through new acquisitions and relax.

Lounge Area

On the H floor you will find our lounge area with comfortable armchairs and sofas for relaxing and reading (approx. 20 seats).

Print Journals & Daily Newspapers

Here you will also find a selection of around 40 print magazines and current daily newspapers. The following newspapers are available daily/weekly in the lounge area:

Tagesanzeiger (incl. magazine)
Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ) (incl. Folio)

The newspapers are archived for a while and older issues are available on request.

New Publications on Display

Also in the lounge area you will find our new publications shelves with the latest books from chemistry, biology and pharmacy. Books that are new to the collection are presented there for a few weeks for you to browse through.
