Award-winning books in the Information Center

Stiftung Buchkunst has selected the 25 “Most Beautiful German Books” of 2022. Three of these books, exemplary in design, conception and craftmanship – the beginning of the Lives in Chemistry series – are available in our library.

Two expert juries chose the 25 “Most Beautiful Books of the Year” in an elaborate process. The 25 selected books are exemplary in design, conception and workmanship and show a wide range of design and production possibilities. Among the books awarded by Stiftung Buchkunst is the Lives in Chemistry series published by Carsten Reinhardt, Eva E. Wille, Peter Gölitz (former editor of Angewandte Chemie) at GNT-Verlag.

Already published are the German autobiographies of Günther Maier (Das war's – Erinnerungen eines Doktorvaters), Nobel Prize winner Gerhard Ertl (Mein Leben mit der Wissenschaft) and Henri Brunner (Bild und Spiegelbild: Kleiner Unterschied – große Auswirkungen). Further volumes will follow in September 2022.
