Find & Access: Join our swisscovery course
News
Whether you are a new user or looking for some advanced tips: join our swisscovery course on March 9 to make the best use of the Information Center and ETH Library's holdings.
The discovery platform swisscovery not only gives you access to the holdings of the Information Center and ETH Library but allows you to use media from hundreds of libraries throughout Switzerland. In addition, swisscovery provides access to countless online publications, both Open Access and licensed by ETH Library. We will also present CLICAPS, the catalog of the Information Center, which is especially useful for quick searches in our local holdings.
The course contains information on registration, on simple and advanced search both in physical holdings and online publications, on ordering and borrowing items on location or using the courier service, and on ordering scans and copies. As an ETH member, most of these services are provided to you free of charge.
The course will be held in English. Registration is not required. You can bring your own device, but it is not a requirement. The course will be held on location and online:
