International Open Access Week 2017

This year's Open Access week theme of "Open in Order to ..."

The 10^th annual International Open Access Week takes place from October 23–29, 2017, in order to highlight researchers the power of Open Access to increase the impact of scientific and scholarly research.

This year's theme of "Open in Order to..." is meant to move the discussion beyond talking about openness itself and instead focus on what openness enables, e.g.

• Open in order to find new collaborators
• Open in order to raise the visibility of my research
• Open in order to enable global participation in research
• Open in order to improve public health
