Both a presentation and a thesis need to have a clear structure so that listeners and readers can understand the science and are ideally excited about the presented results. Similarly, the form is also very important. A well designed, visually appealing poster, paper, thesis or book will attract the readers. A 200-page book with a great layout might be read even if the content is moderate, whereas a book with outstanding science but poor design and typography might not be read at all.
