World Book Day 2022

News

On the occasion of World Book Day people exchange books as gifts. Celebrate with us and trade in your old books.

The World Book and Copyright Day is a yearly event on April 23, founded in 1995 by the UNESCO, to promote the culture of books and reading, publishing and authors' rights.

Traditionally, on April 23 books are exchanged as gifts. At the Information Center, you can trade in used books and exchange them against others. You are about to give books to the "Brocki" or put them into the garbage bin? Now you have a better option: From Monday, April 25, to Friday, April 29, 2022, you can bring fiction and non-fiction, comics, and other books to the Information Center and take other books that were donated in exchange. DVDs, CDs and games can also be exchanged. The Book Exchange Cart will be placed at the entrance of the Information Center. Self service from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
